My New Years Resolutions | 2017

  Hello everybody!
Happy New Year! I hope you all had an awesome celebration! I still can't believe that 2016 is over and it is now 2017! To start the New Year positively I thought I would see if I had accomplished my resolutions from last year and make some new ones...

Last Years 2016 Resolutions; did I complete them?

▪️Keep improving my blog so that I hit 1000 views! We hit 500 around November... let's see if we can achieve this crazy amount by March! - I'm so proud of myself and you for completing this! Our community has grown rapidly and we hit 1000 views specifically on 12 February 2016 which is incredible!

▪️Be more organised - don't leave everything last minute! I'm that kind of person who will say, yeah I'll do it in 10 minutes! Then half an hour later I'm getting stressed over it because I haven't done it, which brings us onto the next one! - I have completed this, although I'm still improving at it. As proof; I'm writing this blog post earlier than usual!

▪️Don't get too stressed out over things! I have done this too many times and got myself into a state! It's terrible to do this so I just need to try not to think of the negative side of things and instead, focus on the positives! - Well, let's just say I'm improving...

▪️Eat healthier! Yes, I know this is the most common resolution, but I cannot say how important this is! It will improve my energy levels, mood and general health I'm sure! - This one I have completed and I am still improving. Everyday I have a apple as an afternoon snack and I have granola and yoghurt for breakfast and vegetables with every meal. (Apart from pizza, you can understand. Right?)

▪️Read more books! When I read I love it! I can just never find the time, not that I never have time - I just find something else to do, but in my head I'm thinking I should really be reading! - This one definitely improved, over the summer I read loads and it made me feel so good about myself!

▪️Get out of the house more! Whether it's a walk on the beach or doing stuff in the garden, enjoying the fresh air also keeps me happy! - This one is still a work in progress, sometimes I have really lazy days but other days I feel more active. On Boxing Day I went on a walk along the beach front with my family.

  My 2017 New Years Resolutions

▪️Make my blog the best it can be so that I hit 7500 views! My current views are 4925, which I still can't believe! Because it's 2017 let's try and hit this ridiculous amount by the end of the year!

▪️Like I said before I'm still trying to improve my stress levels so this resolution is staying, I feel like 2017 is going to be the year!

▪️Another resolution that is staying is getting out more, it's definitely improving but I don't think it's improving to its fullest extent. Whether it's a shopping spree at a market or a jog in the morning, it will happen!

▪️Create a gratitude journal - I think these are quite important because they help you think positively and get you in a good mood. I am going to follow a 30 day prompt for this, and the first day's entry was "what smell are you grateful for today?" The smell I am grateful for is freshly baked bread.

▪️Improve my makeup skills and try new looks. I received lots of makeup for Christmas so now I have to use my "makeup knowledge" and creativity to create an amazing masterpiece on my face.

▪️Improve my grades and academic skills. Sometimes I can enjoy studying/working or sometimes it can seem like the most boring thing in the world but it's still very important so I need to remember; however I feel, that I must put education first.

That's all for this week! I hope you enjoyed and perhaps you even got inspired by my resolutions! I love doing these kinds of blogs because they help me open my eyes and see all the possibilities for the next 365 days. Just remember to think positively and then you have the key to a happier and healthier life! Love you all!
  Byyeee!!!!!
