Sandbox Coloring | Christmas
Hello everybody!
This week’s blog post is a special for Christmas Eve! You may have heard of a popular app called Sandbox Colouring, if not, it is a game where you can colour in images with the matching colour. I’ve been addicted to it for the past few weeks and thought it would be a good blog post idea. Not only do you get to read how great the app is but you’ll also get to watch it! I have included a timelapse (which the game creates for you!) which will be on my youtube channel!
#1 Penguin
#2 Star
#3 Christmas tree
#4 Snowflake
#5 Elf
#6 Reindeer
#7 Santa and his reindeer
Now that you’ve seen the images that I coloured you can watch it on my youtube channel with this link:
https://youtu.be/CbYjPGU7flY
Also, if you like the look of this app here is the IOS download link for it: https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/sandbox-coloring/id1237405816?mt=8
That’s all for this week’s blog post! I hope you enjoyed! If you want to see more on Sandbox Coloring let me know by commenting down below. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas! I will see you next week for another blog post! Love you all!

Christmas Cracker Jokes
Hello everybody!
This week’s festive blog post is Christmas cracker jokes. For me, Christmas crackers must be one of the most exciting parts of a Christmas dinner, everything about them is so much fun: the paper crown, the gift you get inside and of course, the awful jokes! So, for this week’s post I will be giving you some of the best and worst Christmas cracker jokes to get you in the festive mood!
▪️ Why are Christmas trees bad knitters?
They keep losing their needles
▪️ Got a Christmas card full of rice today, I think it was from my Uncle Ben.
▪️ Two snowmen were standing in a field. One said, "Can you smell carrots?"
▪️ What did Adam say the day before Christmas?
"It‘s Christmas, Eve"
▪️ What’s a dog’s favourite carol?
Bark, the herald angels sing
▪️ What does Father Christmas do when his elves misbehave?
He gives them the sack
▪️ What do Santa’s little helpers learn at school?
The elf-abet!
▪️ What do you get when you cross a snowman with a vampire?
Frostbite
▪️ Why did no-one bid for Rudolph and Blitzen on eBay?
Because they were two deer
▪️ Who hides in the bakery at Christmas?
A mince spy
▪️ What is the best Christmas present?
A broken drum, you can't beat it!
▪️ What do you call a blind reindeer?
No-eye deer
That’s all for this week’s blog post! I hope you enjoyed! Special thanks to a good friend of mine for this blog post idea. Are there any jokes that made you giggle? Christmas is in 8 days which is incredible!! I think December has gone by so fast! I’ll see you on Christmas Eve!! Love you all!

Gingerbread Men
Hello everybody!
This week’s blog is another Christmassy post! I bring to you the Decembrr 2017 bake! This was probably the most fun bake I’ve ever done and it tastes incredible! I baked gingerbread men. If you’d like to find out how to bake these carry on reading!
Makes: 12-20
Prep time: 30 mins to 1 hour
Cooking time: 12 to 15 mins
Ingredients
350g/12oz plain flour, plus extra for rolling out
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
2 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp ground cinnamon
125g/4½oz butter
175g/6oz light soft brown sugar
1 free-range egg
4 tbsp golden syrup
To decorate
Writing icing
Cake decorations
Method
1. Sift together the flour, bicarbonate of soda, ginger and cinnamon and pour into the bowl of a food processor. Add the butter and blend until the mix looks like breadcrumbs. Stir in the sugar.
2. Lightly beat the egg and golden syrup together, add to the food processor and pulse until the mixture clumps together. Tip the dough out, knead briefly until smooth, wrap in clingfilm and leave to chill in the fridge for 15 minutes.
3. Preheat the oven to 180C/350F/Gas 4. Line two baking trays with greaseproof paper.
4. Roll the dough out to a 0.5cm/¼in thickness on a lightly floured surface. Using cutters, cut out the gingerbread men shapes and place on the baking tray, leaving a gap between them.
5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until lightly golden-brown. Leave on the tray for 10 minutes and then move to a wire rack to finish cooling. When cooled decorate with the writing icing and cake decorations.
The reality of home baking isn’t always what you see in the final photos.... When baking my gingerbread men, a few of them had a small mishap, which actually became one of my favourite parts of this bake. No bake is perfect!
That’s all for this week’s blog post! I hope you enjoyed! I’m so excited for Christmas and I’m sure you are too!! I will see you next week. Love you all!

Christmas House Tour
Hello everybody!
This week’s blog is my first Christmassy post!! I’m so excited for Christmas and I’m sure you are too! That is why I am featuring a Christmas House Tour, I did one for Halloween a year ago and you really seemed to like it so I’m doing it again, but for Christmas!
As you can see from the photo above, I have a small black christmas tree with a few bauble bunches and some fake holly and frosted holly to give it a bit of colour. I also have a Zara Home gingerbread candle which is a must have at Christmas time, it smells so good! You can also find some cute ceramic house tealight holders and a chrome metal church tealight holder. These give a lovely warm glow to this area.
For my console table display, I have a Zara Home gingerbread reed diffuser, I love the scent so much that when I saw it in the shop I just had to get it again (this is the 3rd year running). I also have a sequin star which is actually a chocolate box, but it was too glittery to throw away when the chocolates were all gone so now it is used as a sparkly decoration! I also have this lovely white stag snow globe which looks so pretty on the table. I have another small light-up glitter globe which is from Macys.
To decorate the fireplace and chimney breast, I have some curtain lights which look so effective and give a lovely glow in the evening. You can have them permanently on or a flashing pattern or even a waterfall effect!
This is my nativity scene, other than a christmas tree this is probably my biggest family tradition and was a gift from my uncle. I think it adds such a Christmassy feel to my house and I can’t imagine decorating my house and not setting it up.
And now of course, my Christmas tree! I don’t have themed baubles, I have sentimental decorations on my tree which have been collected over the years, I usually get a new one or two as gifts every year.
That’s all for this week’s blog post! I hope you enjoyed! My Christmas house decor basically stays the same every year because we love to remember previous Christmases, especially from when I was very young. If you have any family Christmas house decor traditions please let me know what they are in the comments below. I will see you next week for another festive blog post! Love you all!
