Malteser Tiffin
Hello everybody!
This weeks blog post is another baking post! As you all probably know, I love baking very much so I'm very happy to finally be doing April's bake! This bake does not require an oven so I think its easy peasy! :)
Makes: 1 - 16 squares
Prep time: 30 minutes
Chill time: 1-2 hours
Difficulty: Easy
Ingredients:
200g milk chocolate (I used Lindt milk chocolate)
100g unsalted butter
2 tbsp golden syrup
125g digestive biscuits
135g bag of Maltesers
For the topping:
200g milk chocolate
25g unsalted butter
1 tsp golden syrup
Method:
1. Line a 20cm square baking tin with baking parchment. Place the 200g of chocolate, butter and syrup in a heat-proof bowl and melt over a pan of barely simmering water or in the microwave. Once almost melted, remove from the heat and gently stir until any tiny bits chocolate have melted. Allow to cool a little.
2. Place the biscuits and 35g of the Maltesers in a freezer bag, seal and crush with a rolling pin. Or alternatively, blitz in a food processor. You want mainly crumbs but a few small chunks of biscuit is fine.
3. Tip the crushed mixture and whole Maltesers (save 1 or 2 for yourself) into the melted chocolate and stir until everything is coated. Press into the prepared tin and make the topping.
4. For the topping, melt the chocolate, butter and syrup as before and spread over the biscuit base.
5. Cover the tin with cling film or foil and refrigerate for 1-2 hours before cutting into squares.
That's all for this week! I was so happy with the outcome and it tasted delicious. Costa Coffee sell Chocolate Tiffin which inspired me to do this bake! If you happen to bake this, please send me photos on my Instgram (@ISayBell_blog). See you next week for another blog post! Love you all!

April Playlist + Musical.lys
Hello everybody!
This weeks blog post, as you can see by the title, is a "playlist and musical.ly compilation" I know I mention this in every blog with this theme, but, if you don't know what Musical.ly is, it is basically an app used for lip-syncing. You have a large variety of songs that you can lip-sync to and post them for all your friends to see.
For this months post I am lip-syncing to the most popular songs on the app so here is the link which leads to the musical.ly compilation on my YouTube channel:
https://youtu.be/KeBPYdmiZ-Q
Now I move onto the playlist, I do my playlists on an app called Spotify which most of you will of heard of. My Spotify username is @ISayBell.Blog if you want to follow me! The songs on the playlist are the songs that are in the video, but you can listen to the full versions! So... the songs that are on my playlist are:
▪️ Closer by The Chainsmokers ft. Halsey
▪️ FIYAH by will.i.am
▪️ Touch by Little Mix
Here is the link for that: https://open.Spotify.com/user/isaybell.blog/playlist/7bkJojq1gofV1yI6fg9UKx
That's all for this blog post! I hope you enjoyed reading, watching and listening! These blogs are a favourite so it always makes me happy when it comes round to doing them! They're quite rare blog posts since I only post them once every two months! Comment if you'd like to see them more regularly! Love you all!

Get Inspired
Hello everybody!
This week's blog is a DIY! I haven't done on of these in absolutely ages so I thought I'd do another one! If you've been reading this blog for a long time you may remember a DIY I did, where I made a magazine cuttings notebook. This post is a follow on, where I'll be showing you how to use magazine cuttings to make a mood board but in a journal way! So, get inspired!
To make this DIY you will need:
▪️A journal
▪️Magazines or photographs
▪️Stickers and pens (optional)
▪️Scissors
▪️Glue
To make this you need to:
▪️Get a magazine that you don't mind cutting up and then go through it and cut out quotes, pictures, etc. that you find inspiring. Or if you want to be creative you could draw or take your own photos and print them!
▪️Next, decide on a design topic for your mood board as and start laying each picture out. (If you choose a complicated design I'd recommend taking a photo to refer back to when gluing)
▪️Glue down your pictures to your desired spot on the page (or board) making sure everything fits nicely!
▪️As a nice finishing touch if you have room you could find a quote which relates to your topic and write it in a space, or you could print and stick!
That's all for this weeks blog! I hope you enjoyed getting creative and inspired! I used the Zoella Lifestyle notebook for my boards and I was very happy with the outcome! If you make this tag me on Instagram (ISayBell_blog) so I can see your creative mood boards, the possibilities really are endless! See you next week for another blog post! Love you all!
