Very Valentine Biscuits!

  Hello everybody!
Happy Valentines Day!  <3  I hope you have had/are having a great day! I'm pretty sure this is a monthly 'tradition' now... Nope it's not a monthly favourites, it's another baking blog post! I baked and decorated some delicious biscuits this week. (As you have probably seen by the title.) Let's get baking...

  Serves: Makes about 15
  Cook Time: 25 minutes
Prep Time: 20 minutes plus 15 mins chilling
  Effort: Easy

        Ingredients
  ▪️ 150 g butter, at room temperature
  ▪️ 75 g caster sugar
  ▪️ 225 g plain flour
       To decorate
  ▪️ Icing sugar
  ▪️ Pink icing pen

       Method
▪️ Dice the butter into a big bowl. Tip in the flour, sugar and a pinch of salt. Gently rub in the butter with your fingertips and bring the dough together into a ball. Wrap in cling film and chill in the fridge for 15 minutes.
▪️ Preheat the oven to 170C gas 4.
▪️ Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and roll to about 1/2 cm thick. Cut out the heart shapes with a biscuit cutter and lay on lined baking sheet. Bake for 15-25 minutes, until light golden. Leave to cool on a rack.
▪️ To decorate the biscuits, mix together few tablespoons of icing sugar with enough water to make a paste. Spread the icing onto the biscuits, or drizzle over in different patterns. You can then use icing pens to decorate, or dip the biscuits into edible glitter. Leave to set before eating.

That brings us to the end of the bake! I hope you enjoyed and if you do happen to bake the cookies please tag me on Instagram so I can see your wonderful creations! (@ISayBell_blog.) I'll see you next week for another post.

Capture The Flag | Movie Review

  Hello everybody!
The other day I watched a great movie called Capture The Flag. I thought it would be fun and perhaps helpful to you if you are wondering whether to watch the movie or if you want to buy it when it comes out on DVD. So, let's get on with the movie review...

   Film: Capture The Flag
Starring: Dani Rovira (Richard Carson), Michelle Jenner (Amy González), Carme Calvell (Mike Goldwing), Javier Balas (Marty Farr)
  Director: Enrique Gato Borregán
  U.K. Release date: 29 January 2016
  Rating: PG
  Genre: Animation, adventure, comedy
  Runtime: 1hr 37mins

  Storyline:
Mike Goldwing stows away on a rocket bound for the moon to fulfill his grandfather's lost dream of being an astronaut; meanwhile, a Texas billionaire is also racing to the moon to destroy the Apollo XI flag and rewrite history in his favor.

My Star Rating: 3 stars out of 5

Favourite character: Amy González - she is sassy and funny.
Funniest moment: When Marty got stuck in the wire fence.
Saddest moment: Sorry, but I can't give the plot away...
Cringeworthy moment: The accidental kiss..... Eewwwwww.

  Favourite quotes:
"I'm going to kick your butt straight to the moon" - Amy
"I'll do what my Dad and Grandpa couldn't" - Mike
"It's better than studying for maths" - Marty

And that brings us to the end. I hope this helped you or you just simply enjoyed reading! I would say watch it if you can because it is a great movie! I will post again next Sunday.
