Occasion Hats

  Hello everybody!
Since the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle just passed I thought it would be appropriate to do a blog post about headwear for special occasions. The wedding was so beautiful to watch and whilst I was watching it I noticed all the ladies were wearing hats. After I saw all of these outstanding hats it inspired me to find some that I liked. If you’re going to a special event and want some “hat inspo” carry on reading! All the hats/fascinators showed are from “Rosie Olivia”.

Cleanse Your Phone

  Hello everybody!
This week’s blog post will be helpful for most of you since almost all of us use our phones a lot. Do you ever feel like your phone feels boring and full of stuff you don’t need? Clean it up and make your phone feel like new with these tips!

1. Find a new background! This will make your phone feel brand new and it’s fun!

2. Go through your camera roll! Delete any unwanted pictures, videos, and screenshots to clear up space!

3. Delete and/or organise apps! Delete the ones you never use, and maybe sort some apps into folders!

4. Go through your emails! Most people have thousands of unread emails which take up so much storage so clean it up!

5. Go through your contacts! You probably have numbers from people you haven’t talked to in years, or don’t remember, so delete them!

6. Try organising your apps in different ways! Try colour coding apps for an aesthetic vibe!

7. Go through your text messages or voicemail! Try deleting things that are from a while ago to clear up space!

8. Create a new voicemail message! Your current one is probably one that your awkward younger self made a couple years ago so try changing it.

9. Go through your notes, reminders, and alarms! You probably have a ton of useless stuff taking up storage, delete them!

10. Create folders to store all your photos in. Makes it easier to go back and re-live all those memorable moments!

That’s all for this weeks blog post! I hope you enjoyed! I’m going to try to do this every month because my phone can get quite a lot of useless stuff on it which takes up memory. I love helpful posts like this, so if this helped you and you enjoyed it please let me know in the comments below! I will see you next week for another blog post! Love you all!

Blueberry Muffins

  Hello everybody!
This week’s blog post is baking post! I’ve always loved blueberry muffins, but I’d never made them before so this was super exciting! I’m going to be completely honest, whilst baking this I had a few ups and downs such as getting the consistency of the cake batter right. So when I put them in the oven I had absolutely no idea how they’d turn out, but I think they were reasonably good for a first attempt.

Serves: 12
Prep time: 15 minutes
Coooking time: 20 minutes

Ingredients
2 eggs
250g self raising flour
120 ml milk
100g caster sugar
150g butter
1 small punnet blueberries (225g)

Method
1. Mix the butter and caster sugar together until they form a light creamy paste. Add the eggs and beat with a whisk until the mixture is light and fluffy; this is the key to keeping the texture of your muffins. Gently, fold in the flour using using a wooden spoon and finally the blueberries. Add the milk as required to keep the mixture moist.
2. Pour or spoon the mixture into the muffin cases, filling right to the top. Place in a preheated oven at 190℃/ gas mark 4 for approximately 25 minutes.
3. To check whether they’re cooked, the top of the muffin should spring back when lightly touched. Put them back in the oven for a couple of minutes if they’re not quite ready.

That’s all for this week’s blog post! I hope you enjoyed! These muffins aren’t very sweet, but they make a nice breakfast muffin! I hope you don’t feel overloaded with all the baking I’ve done in April! I will see you next week for another blog post! Love you all!
